Simon Charles Makobe holds a Master Degree in Project Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation from the Open University of Tanzania and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from University of Dar es Salaam. He is a certified national facilitator on Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS), School Water Sanitation and Hygiene (SWASH), he is also a trainer in Open Defecation Free (ODF) guidelines accredited by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. Simon has attended various trainings on School Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (SWASH).

He has worked in NGO sector for over 8 years and gained distinguished experience in developing and applying professional skills especially in Program Development, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), follow ups, monitoring, mentoring/coaching, data collection, data quality assessment, analysis and interpretation.

He further has comparable competence in Data collection using ICT tools such as Open Data Kit (ODK), Survey Solutions and Task Force LINKS as well as using EXCEL, STATA and SPSS on quantitative and qualitative analysis (Excel). He is further capable in Capacity Building on M&E and Projects Quality Improvement (Qi).
