Jurua Kizito
Jurua holds a Bachelor degree in Public Health/Environmental Health Science from Cavendish University in Uganda (CUU), Post Graduate Diploma in Health service management from Islamic University in Uganda, Diploma in Environmental Health Science from Makerere University, Certificate in Governance Leadership and Management (GLM) METs- Makerere University and Certificate in Administrative Law from Uganda Christian University.
Jurua has over 10 years of hands-on working experience in Education, Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene, Health Promotion, Nutrition and Food Security, proven experience in Project Planning and Management.
He has proven experience in Epidemiological Disease Surveillance under the Global Health Security Agenda with emphasis on “ONE HEALTH”. In the Education sector he served as instructor/ tutor in Arua Nurses and Midwives Training school.
Jurua has spearheaded projects under Global Sanitation Fund in Koboko District of West Nile region in Uganda. I also coordinated the Institutional Capacity Building Project (ICBP) aimed at building the capacity of the Healthcare force for Health Systems Strengthening in West Nile Uganda. He is also an entrepreneur with various portfolios of social and economic initiatives.
He is also an entrepreneur with various portfolios of social and economic initiatives and a Member of the Board of Directors for Feat Africa (FA) a Non-Governmental Organization working in Water Sanitation and Hygiene in Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan as well as a former member of the then Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC).
